A Note from Anthony Strancke

Dear Pewaukee Families: Spring Flower Patch

I hope you had a great spring break. I spent some time over spring break reflecting on the past three years. I am most proud of the growth and progress many of our special education students have shown over the past three years - recognizing that none of this would be possible without our dedicated and committed teaching staff and your support. Pewaukee School Districtís classrooms are filled with authentic learning opportunities benefitting all children. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the job is getting to know you and your children. Having the children gone over spring break reminds me how special it is to work in education with so many wonderful young people adding life to our brick and mortar walls. Each child is full of limitless potential.

Pewaukee summer programming is a great way to continue the learning for our children. Please let us know if you plan to enroll your children prior to May 5th so we can staff accordingly. Pewaukee School Districtís summer school programming has a wide range of activities and course offerings. You can find Pewaukee Schools summer programming on the school districtís webpage under Pewaukee Summer School.

We want to hear from you. Every April the Student Services Office sends out a survey to our parents to solicit feedback as to how we are doing as a department. Please look for this survey next week in your email. We are here to serve your family. I would very much appreciate it if you could take a few minutes and complete the Student Services Survey. We appreciate you and want your voice to be heard. Your input and participation are invaluable as we work together navigating your childrenís educational pursuits.

The final SEFAC meeting for this school year is scheduled for May 10th. The SEFAC meetings are held in Room 240 at Pewaukee High School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hope to see you there.

I look forward to a great close to the 2015-2016 school year. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support and assist you.

Have a great spring!
